About our coach

Nancy McKay founded Amazing Outlook Coaching at 60 when she changed course to create a new career and life filled with purpose and passion. Nancy has been sober since March 2009 and has been an ovarian cancer survivor since 2015. Overcoming these challenges led her to her mantra, "I didn't get sober and survive cancer to be miserable."

Encouraging women to use their voices as power, she's worked with women who over-drink, had been diagnosed with cancer, want to take a hard look at their careers, have relationship issues, or simply want to shake things up. For Nancy, life coaching is one of the best ways to do that by learning more about yourself, your patterns, how you keep sabotaging yourself, and how to make lasting changes.

Everyday Intuition Class with Trisha Gast

Everyday Intuition Class with Trisha Gast

We are all born with the subtle sense of intuition. The more we understand it and know how to access it and use it, the greater the role it plays in our life.

Have you ever had the sensation of a “gut” feeling or hunch about something or someone that you can’t explain? Intuition bridges the gap between the conscious and unconscious parts of our mind. We need both instinct and reason to make the best decisions for ourselves, our businesses, and our families. But many of us mistrust these feelings and we dismiss the power of our own instincts when they would benefit us the most.

Everyday Intuition is a workshop that teaches you how to grow and use your intuition to solve both practical and complex problems.

Equine Live Figure Drawing

Equine Live Figure Drawing at Zuma’s is non-instructional, laid back, and welcome to artists of all experience levels.

Thursday April 13, 6pm to 7pm

  • $20 per artist

  • Limited to 14 participants

  • Please provide all of your own art materials.

  • Seating and tables will be provided.

  • We will be observing horses outside, weather permitting. In the event of cold temperatures or precipitation, we will take the class inside Lucky's Arena.

  • Please wear layers and closed-toed shoes.

  • Donations to the rescue are always appreciated!

What is figure drawing?

Figure drawing is the art of sketching the figure, often done live with a human model who is standing or sitting in a pose that emphasizes the figure. This process helps the artist capture the essence of the human body's musculature, texture, and postures.

This class will be observing advanced riding students as they participate in their lesson, offering us the chance to capture the horses in a range of dynamic actions.

Where do we meet?

If we're able to have class outside, we will meet at tables set up along the fenced outdoor arena. If we have to be indoors, we will meet inside Boomer's Room, the main office at Zuma's. Email information will follow the day before the class on where exactly to meet so everyone will know where to be.
