Paul is returning to the Board President seat after his 3- year break to bring back the founders’ passion for the mission. Paul is an IT network architect and has worked in the telecom industry for 38 years.

Diane Mullins is a leader in community development throughout the front range and an equine enthusiast.

Rah-Moov Financial has extensive experience in directly executing in C-level leadership in early-stage start-up organizations. Rah has vast experience in conference organizing and sponsorship procurement.

Skilled in quickly establishing relationships of credibility with executives, team members, cross functional groups and customers. Expertise in negotiations, sales operations, conflict management and financial analysis. Accustomed to working in technology organizations experiencing rapid change and growth. Master's Degree in Conflict Resolution.

Jodi is a passionate serial entrepreneur who has dedicated her life to both business and philanthropy. Her journey began in the late 1980s when she was a mom and foster parent. After moving to Colorado, she attended the Denver Art Institute, where she studied design. This led her to launch Paint Panache, a design and faux finishing business, which she ran successfully for several years.

However, Jodi’s life took a pivotal turn when horses entered her world. In 2004, she began saving horses, and by 2008, she formalized her efforts by establishing a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Zuma’s Rescue Ranch. In addition to her nonprofit, Jodi also started American Sport Horses, a sport horse training business where she designed and managed a world-class equestrian facility.

Through years of boarding, training, and showing horses, Jodi’s love for animals deepened, and she felt called to rescue and provide sanctuary to the very horses she had come to cherish. This led to the creation of Zuma’s Rescue Ranch, a nonprofit dedicated to saving and rehabilitating horses, and offering them a second chance at life.

Jodi's multifaceted career reflects her deep commitment to animals, creativity, and entrepreneurship, and she continues to inspire with her dedication to making a difference in the lives of both horses and people.

Parker spent months in Zuma’s internship program preparing him for his vital role as faculty manager. Parker is compassionate and competent, his positive attitude is infectious to all that spend time around him.

Jose joins Zums’s after a 30 year career working with horses from jockey, colt starting, show groom and facilities maintenance, Jose has the skills to care for both the herd and the facilities .

Naomi is a seasoned equine profecssional with years of facility management, traiing, and coaching experience. Naomi will be helping in the horse care department as well as teaching lessons and training horses.

Ari Joined Zumas as a student, then a working student, and now is our Saturday and Some Tuesdays English Riding Coach. Ari comes to Zuma from the Hunter Jumper world.

Misty is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Integrative Mental Health Practitioner, Registered Yoga Teacher, Meditation Coach and Animal Assisted Therapist. She specializes in trauma-informed, integrative, and experiential modalities working with youth and adults. Misty has provided therapy to clients in a variety of settings including community mental health, private practice, and community outreach. She has experience working with individuals in the homeless community, victims of sexual assault, veterans and military families, substance abuse, and system-involved youth, and provides parent coaching and couples counseling. She incorporates Narrative therapy with practices of Yoga, Mindfulness, Ayurveda, Somatic interventions, Bilateral Movement, Art therapy, Nature Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Animal Assisted Therapy, Nutritional and Herbal supports for well-being, and integrative approaches that honor the whole person. Misty will be adding Acuwellness and Acudetox interventions to support mental health and well-being

Our sessions are possibly the opposite of what you might expect. Typically, people feel overwhelmed and have big problems to resolve – and they anticipate that the session centers around looking at those problems and learning how to manage being overwhelmed.

In our session, we explore from different angles to identify the root of what is causing you to be overwhelmed. Exploration allows us to identify your problem.

You think, “What does the root mean? I don’t want to dig-up my trauma history. How many sessions will that take?” Rest assured and remember – our sessions are not therapy or counseling sessions. 🙂

We are looking at the energy that fuels emotions, beliefs, and behaviors. And, more importantly, you get to experience and practice what it’s like to feel and think contrary to what brought you to our session in the first place.

Things begin to shift and change.

Many shifts and changes happen in the session. Some of these shifts and changes will stick. It’s not much different from solving a math problem, and then, you experience an “aha moment.”:)

Some shifts require a change in your lifestyle and philosophy of life. Again, this is not much different from learning a new mathematical formula. It’s a matter of practice.

No worries! I won’t give you homework, and you can restructure your day. You will discover the one thing that you will do differently moving forward. Whatever you are changing in your day to day life will feel light and easy – and have a ripple effect.

You already know what it’s like to live with being overwhelmed, stressed, and full of problems.

Feeling ‘lighter and easier” is the whole point. 🙂
