Sequoia is a 2006 AQHA mare saved in 2018 with little Clover (her filly) in utero.

Sequoia is a steadfast mare who has been choosy about which humans she allows close to her. Upon arrival, Zuma’s Equine Wellness Manager Liz immediately fell in love and has spent the last 6 years working to gain her trust, overcome her traumas, and find joy in being a horse again.

Liz and Sequoia officially became family in January 2022, we are so thrilled for them!
