GOGO
This stunning 1996 paint mare has had quite the interesting life.
Originally purchased for their jumping program by the Messnich family in 2000 as a four-year-old, she spent a few years traveling and showing with them.
Eventually she was sold to a friend where she was a better fit for their riders, but Jodi continued to track her journey.
In 2014, Jodi found her at a schooling barn and asked that she be retired to Zuma’s!
GoGo happily found her way back to her roots, where she has received the love and appreciation that her previous owners so lacked. After over a decade of being under saddle 6-8 hours a day, GoGo has suffered extensive ligament injuries.
She spends her days living side-by-side with her bestie Cy, bossing him around and demanding treats (carrots only, this girl turns her nose at apples!).
As part of our beloved Sanctuary herd, GoGo is a wonderful soul, and we are honored to have her back on site for her golden years.
