Zarah was a 2-year-old Thoroughbred cross filly bred into the horrible PMU industry.

Most of the products of this industry are sent to auction. Zarah was sent with her best buddy Birch, and a fellow rescue coordinated with Zuma’s to save them.

Zarah had the sweetest disposition, but was always just a little off. Less than a year after her rescue we lost Zarah post-colic surgery. In that surgery is was suggested that her intestines we not 100% right.

Zarah didn’t leave the planet unloved, if fact she had been adopted by Zuma’s Development Director, Jessi Summer and Head Trainer Nicole Irvine and loved beyond measure till her untimely departure.
