Mystique is from the Spanish Mustang preservation “Paha Ponies” in Wyoming. 

This herd of Spanish Mustang is one of the last original Spanish blood lines in the US. Mystique was born in captivity and brought to Zuma’s with 6 others to be gentled.

Mystique was hesitant to trust and slow to gentle, and while she still shows us her true heritage from time to time, she is living her best life here at Zuma’s after being adopted by Diane Mullins alongside her herdmate Ariel.
