MOO
In early January 2021, Feline Friends of LOLAs partnered with Zuma’s to rescue a pair of bonded cat sisters who were only a day away from being euthanized. After making the journey from Texas to Colorado, Maggie and Moo settled right in.
Not long after arriving, Moo began to rapidly lose weight and stopped eating. She was brought to the vet and diagnosed with Feline Hepatitis, landing her for 2 weeks in intensive care. When she came back to Zuma’s, Moo was able to recover with heavy rounds of medication, nutritional supervision, and lots of love by our dedicated staff and volunteers.
Today, Moo has overcome her sickness and is a happy girl. She is very affectionate and will immediately climb on any lap within her reach. We are working on getting her down to a healthy weight, so stop by and throw a toy for her to chase! You can tell her apart from Maggie by her white muzzle and chin.
