1999-2021

Copper, a 1999 thoroughbred gelding, was a retired show jumper that spent his retirement years being adored by so many at Zuma’s.

He had been left at a boarding facility in horrible condition, severely underweight, with highly overgrown hooves and skin fungus. We brought the copper shine back to his coat, his hooves were returned to good condition and suitable for light riding, and Copper quickly became the Tiny Tot King. Copper held that title for a couple of years until he developed heart disease.

He fully retired after his diagnosis and became a volunteer favorite for grooming and walking lessons. Sadly we lost Copper to his heart disease in 2021.
