Caspian was a 32-33-year-old AQHA gelding who was a truly treasured member of Zuma’s herd.

Arriving in 2018 on death’s door, Caspian bounced back quickly thanks to TLC and extensive nutritional rehabilitation. He never let his advanced age slow him down!

This gentle bay led many of our horsemanship classes, enjoyed his full-mash diet, and demanded any extra applesauce you could give.

In June 2020, he was diagnosed with congestive heart failure, so every day after was a gift. He was gracefully sent over the rainbow bridge in March 2022 when his body could no longer keep up.
