Getting Involved

Welcome to Zuma’s Rescue Blog!

We’re thrilled to have you join us on this journey to create a supportive and engaged community for horse lovers and advocates. Our mission at Zuma’s Rescue is to provide a safe haven for horses in need and to build a network of passionate individuals who share our vision of compassion and care.

Our Mission

At Zuma’s Rescue, we believe every horse deserves a second chance. Our rescue provides a safe and nurturing environment for horses who have been abandoned, neglected, or surrendered. Our goal is to rehabilitate these majestic animals and educate and inspire our community about the incredible bond between horses and humans. We are a partnership-based behavioral health center offering animal-assisted learning and therapy programs where the rescued animals and people meet in an equal partnership to heal mind, body, and spirit.

Why Your Support Matters

Building a vibrant community is essential to our mission’s success. We want to create a space where everyone feels welcome and valued, and where we can all share our love for horses. Whether you’re a longtime horse owner, a volunteer, or someone who cares about animal welfare, your involvement can make a big difference.

We’re eager to hear from you about what you’d like to see at Zuma’s Rescue. Your feedback will help us tailor our programs and services to meet our community's needs better. To get started, we’d appreciate it if you could take a few moments to complete a short survey. Your insights will guide us as we plan exciting new initiatives and improvements.

What’s Next?

Stay tuned for upcoming blog posts where we’ll share stories from the rescue, introduce you to our wonderful horses, and highlight the incredible work of our volunteers. We’ll also provide updates on our latest events and initiatives and offer tips and resources for horse care and welfare.

Get Involved

There are many ways you can get involved with Zuma’s Rescue:

  • Volunteer: We always look for enthusiastic volunteers to help with daily care, outreach events, and more.

  • Donate: Your generous contributions help us provide the best care for our horses and fund our rescue efforts.

  • Spread the Word: Help us grow our community by sharing our mission with friends and family.

Thank you for joining us on this journey. We can’t wait to grow and learn with you and make a positive impact together.

Warm regards,
The Zuma’s Rescue Team
