Beautiful inside and out, Azul came to us in 2010 with 6 other APHA mares from a breeder that culled his herd, sending them to a slaughter auction. We were lucky to have been asked to intervene. Azul was suspected of having been a bronc horse, badly abused. He wore many emotional and physical scars.

After years of psychological rehabilitation, Azul became a fantastic therapy pattern, best friend to GoGo, and Paul Messenich.

Rest in Peace, Azul, you will forever be missed.
